Our Services

At A Thriving Mind Mental Health, care is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in both evidence-based psychiatric treatment and supportive psychotherapy. Appointments are designed to allow time for thoughtful evaluation, careful medication decisions when appropriate, and practical strategies that support meaningful change in everyday life.

Psychiatric Evaluation

The first appointment is a comprehensive assessment focused on understanding your goals, experiences, and treatment history. Together, we develop a plan that may include medication, psychotherapy, or a combination of both depending on your needs and preferences.

Medication Management

Follow-up visits support ongoing evaluation of symptoms, medication effectiveness, and side effects. These visits also include space to discuss stressors, coping strategies, and progress over time.

Psychotherapy-Informed Care

Many follow-up visits incorporate supportive psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral strategies as part of routine psychiatric care. When appropriate, psychotherapy-focused sessions may also be scheduled separately.

Collaborative Treatment Planning

Care is tailored to each individual. Some patients benefit primarily from medication support, some from psychotherapy, and many from a combination of both. Treatment decisions are made together and adjusted over time as needs change. Treatment planning includes careful review of current medications and the development of safe, individualized de-prescribing plans when clinically indicated.

Superbills are available for patients who wish to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance provider.

What to Expect

Care begins with a comprehensive evaluation to understand your experiences, priorities, and goals. From there, treatment is developed collaboratively and may include supportive psychotherapy, medication, when appropriate, or most likely, a combination of both.

Follow up visits focus on:

·      Tracking progress

·      Adjusting treatment thoughtfully when needed

·      Strengthening strategies that support daily life

·      Creating steady forward movement at a sustainable pace

The goal is not just symptom relief but care that supports how you want to function over time.
